This year has sure been flying. Welcome to the first day of meteorological Summer (in 3 days of writing this), and we are at the half-point of the year. Before you know it, we will see Christmas decorations and other things in stores. Is this going to be our typical Juneuary or will it be a summer like month? July is typically when we start getting into our summer weather more consistently.

We reached a comfortable 19.7c @ the pond in south Sardis today.

Weather looks nice coming up. summer

Possible low 30s inland this weekend on the south coast. There are already some big fires up in the Prince George region. Noticed some haze in the skies today, although according to Cliff Mass that smoke giving us the hazy skies is in the upper levels thus not affecting air quality and coming from Northern Asia. I wonder if we will get an early smoke show from more local fires like we had in June 2015. I guess thet will depend on whether or not we get a "Juneuary" spell this June.

Thanks for your valuable input Cmen69 although your predicted prolonged heat hump didn't turn out last month which is fine by me. We reached a high of 21c @ the pond in south Sardis today.
