Not sure. It looks like a decent NW surge overnight and into tomorrow morning and then gradients relax tomorrow night into Tuesday onward.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Sun Jul 13, 2025 10:15 pm
Questions for the weather experts. Why is tomorrow forecast to be cooler then back to hot? I've always seen the temp increase over ~3 days then drop. I guess we'll see if they're right or if it does just stay hot.

I don't think the NW surge will make it into the central valley desert Bones not enough push. Yes along the coast a better chance for abit cooler conditions perhaps.

Unfortunately, my wife vetoed Snag for this trip. She really wanted to hit the hotsprings and that would have meant adding another 2 hours to the drive, so we wouldn't be able to make it in time. Next trip...SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sun Jul 13, 2025 3:29 pm Great to see your safe Glace kinda worried you hit a Snag in the Yukonany correlation between a wet cold summer in the far north and a cold winter for us.
one can only hope.
I did visit the Carcross desert. I know, not really a desert, but really a cool spot. You can't even find sand dunes this big in BC...

Cool and wet day across west-central Alberta. Pic # 1 at the Brazeau Dam with rain showers and temps hovering near 14c. Clearing towards Edson (pic # 2), with a mix of sun and cloud, and temps climbing close to 20c. Spotty moderate to heavy rain showers further north and west near Hinton (pic # 3), and in Grande Cache (pic # 4) with cool temps around 12c.
