Perhaps a GooFasS practice run for this winter Tcool :D we reached a high of 25.6c @ the pond in south Sardis with after clouds rolling in. Oh oh we have a Russian bot Mods we need some deletion work wow that's a huge post. :shock: it's taken over all threads.

Ya that's crazy Jr. Man don't open anything might be virus seems the site has been hit a couple times this week can someone e mail Stuffo's? there are different bots showing up different names.

never seen an EC forecast like this for Abby. 39 Humidex Monday :shock: :shock:

Mon, 11 Aug
Sunny. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h near noon. High 33 except 36 over northern sections. Humidex 37 except 39 . UV index 8 or very high.
Night
Clear. Low 19 except 22 over higher terrain.

Never seen it either, don’t know what’s up with warmer in northern sections never seen that. That’s usually reserved for extra rain.

Sounds like a downsloping effect, where areas closer to the mountains are hotter. But I haven't looked the models to see if this is the case.

Prime day fro some Harrison Lake trail hiking spotted a Blue Heron along the Little Miami River.

Stopped in at Muddy Waters cafe for a beverage l guess there Christmas sleeves are in season that ones for our Christmas fan Mr. Stuffers. :thumbup: :wave:

You should be in a prime spot Abby Sr. perhaps in upper Mission or west and north van.

That would also account for the higher min temps at mid elevations, along with temps aloft being quite high. I recall the Burnaby Mountain station recording a low of 28-29c during the June 2021 heatwave, while lower elevations closer to sea level were around to 24-25c.
