Maybe but it's too soon to tell as we can still get into the 30's in September.

Credit to the Euro AIFS ensembles. It was the first model suite to pick up on this upcoming heatwave. Started showing signs of it last Friday.

It is possible. But the way this "moderate" summer weather has been, im not betting on any major heat in Sept. Maybe even earlier pineapples this year

The 00Z GEM wants to keep the heat going for 8 days straight. Similar to the July 2018 heatwave in terms of temperatures and duration.
