PDX recorded a max of 102˚F (39˚C) today.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Would be nice. Either way, I think this will the longest heatwave of the season even though it's not the most intense one we've seen in recent years.

Already seems to be overperforming.

Min of 14.9˚C IMBY this morning. Dunno why Abby was so much warmer. Persistent wind, perhaps?

Max of 29.2˚C yesterday. That difference is almost certainly due to more marine influence and less interior influence here. Probably less downsloping from the mountains, too (but I count that as interior influence since that's where the downsloping air is originating).
