Good guesses Skipper we've been doing some house sitting for a friend who's away. We've been out here most weekends it's like a mini staycation indeed mini hikes to the lake coffee shops little pricey took some pix and posted the last month some local drives Bridal Falls, Fraser River wet lands near Popkum took a drive up to Hicks Lake even drove out to the Hope Slide. Othello Tunnels forget it too busy couldn't get in maybe after Labor Day. Back in the Whackhole now returning Saturday to Harrison for afew more days. Still searching for Mountain man a.k.a. Sasquatchy Grumps.

It seems like when it's really hot, Port Hardy is cool, and when it's normal, Port Hard is warmer. Heat waves push air on short in Port Hardy.

There is a similar pattern in California. San Francisco tends to have its chilliest summer weather when the Central Valley is the hottest.

I don’t mean to rain on anybody’s parade but I don’t remember the last time the Euro lightning maps verified, at least in Abbotsford. But we can hope.

I don't take those maps to be precise, especially for things like lightning, but use them to highlight potential.

What an ugly.........................................................................car!
What kinda beer is that? and is that John sleeping behind you?
When we're there, usually eat at the Black Forrest Gump cake restaurant, good schnitzels and German wheat beer.
I see you've got more grey hair than I do, but I've got more white hair. :)
There's also Deer Lake, just a little further from Hicks, caught plenty of trout there in the past.

Was out your way a few weeks ago and visited the Sidekick Brewery, what an awesome spot right on the river, Detroit style pizza was quite good, and having my favorite ice cream parlor (Banters) right next door was a bonus, I can't pass up on my favorite flavor, Earl Grey .
