It's nice having the sun/daylight come out at 7 am again.

Re: November 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
I call standard time the real daylight-savings time, because it means more daylight in the part of the day I want it most. I really dislike dark mornings.stuffradio wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 8:02 am It's nice having the sun/daylight come out at 7 am again.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: November 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
The only part I wouldn't like about leaving the time at this time year round is that the daylight would disappear before 9 PM.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 8:14 am I call standard time the real daylight-savings time, because it means more daylight in the part of the day I want it most. Re: November 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
One idea I had recently would be to split the difference between standard and daylight time, and just stay on that time year-round. This would result in our local time being UTC-07:30. That's not an integer number of hours, but Newfoundland and parts of Australia have offsets on the half-hour and things seem to work OK for them.stuffradio wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 8:32 am The only part I wouldn't like about leaving the time at this time year round is that the daylight would disappear before 9 PM.

Re: November 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
I see A.I. Canada is calling for NE outflow winds out here in the central valley Tuesday evening. I hope we get a Harrison Lake howler.
