Snowed a few centimeters yesterday at my house, but downtown Vernon was just rain. I suspect snow at my place is now here to stay until March.

GFS undid this but the compromise is a zonal flow which is more beneficial for the ski hills. Neutral PNA and +AO mid month which I suspect will keep any cold bottled up in the pole.

Just relieved to see mountain snow in the models.

It's really frustrating but for some reason our La Niña winters seem to feature far less -PNA episodes now. It's either neutral or positive. :x

Hopefully a lot of that makes it to the Similks..drought last 2 years due to low snowpack and those dammm beavers plugging up our trickly water supply

November 2025 will end as the 7th or 8th warmest Novembers on record in Vancouver. And no, that's not necessarily a good sign. ;)

Thanks for the stats.

How is it looking precip wise?

Typer would know but I believe warm Novembers can lead to something decent down the road.

Don’t fret Jr. It is only November still.

Hopefully mid Dec onward will start to look better in the next week or so.

Lots of Winter left to go.

The La Niña influence seems to be slow to get going as per usual.

Hopefully the snow comes either before December 23rd or after the 26th. We are flying out to Ottawa for Christmas on the 23rd and flying home on the 26th. Due to time restrictions, there is no wiggle room if our flight is cancelled due to the weather. Let's bring on the snow on my timing.

Too bad January 1957 and 1969 show no signs of repeating anytime soon. We need another cold January. :bang: :x
