Margin for error is razor thin. Likely will need a win and a draw (4 points) out of the three round robin games to advance out of the group and qualify for the round of 32.

There's a press conference for the Whitecaps today. Rumour has it that they are building a stadium at Hastings Park.

It's officially in the works. The team may be saved. BC Place screwed themselves IMO. Their two biggest tenants leaving.

After a good nights sleep it was obvious Hughes was not going to re sign l'm still pissed that we basically traded JT Thriller away for damaged goods, Chytil is done. :x

You can’t really be on the winning side when you have to trade Hughes but from all analysis I have seen we did well with the return.

I guess the team was stale and tanking fast l hope they flounder near the bottom, this year's draft is outstanding apparently.

Good win against the Czechs last night. Need to shorten up the defence though.

Someone forgot to tell Crosby that it's harder to score in your 30s than your 20s...

RIP Glenn Hall

7 1st team all star selections (basically the same as the Vezina), the most in NHL history for goalies.
4 2nd team all star selections (2nd best goalie in the league).
502 consecutive games, by the far the most in NHL history among goalies.
The inventor of the butterfly style.
Rookie of the year winner.
Conn Smythe trophy winner as playoff MVP in the losing cause, as a 36 year old!

Played in 13 all star games!

Simply sensational. One of the greatest of all time! Maybe even the greatest goalie of all time.
