Anyone see the videos of the tornado in Michigan ripping along the frozen lake? Apparently it ripped ice out of the lake!
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Still on track for the mountain snow extravaganza next week.
A brief warmup might bring rain Wednesday afternoon but turn it back to snow. That’s for the locals - Manning will be all snow, potentially Sasquatch too. Could pile up to close to a metre over the week. This only goes out to Wednesday.

The Hrrr actually gives southern sections a decent dusting within 48 hours. 925s around -2 and suface temps just above freezing. Ya never know.

On one hand...at least we are going to see sustained alpine snow. This will help salvage the snowpack.

On the other hand...how typical for the pattern we want to vanish before out very eyes with a very wet and cool zonal flow taking shape in mid March. Piss on this climate.
