There's a huge tree south of us that has died, been wanting to take it down, it would crush our new tiny house easily. Luckily there's a forest that sort of shields it but it always makes me nervous.

Windstorms generally suck in rural areas, taking out the power, throwing debris all over the place. We have some flimsy structures as well.
It's going to be ok, there's an EC yellow Wind Warning.  I have the incubator running now so hopefully it's overstated. Pretty quiet so far.

Thing to watch is the atmospheric river from to Thursday next week with 3500m freezing levels. This is going to lead to heavy stream flows and flooding.

This will also wipe out the snowpack.

Meteorological Service of Canada observation station at #YHE showing a wind gusts to 116km/h at 9:40p PDT — the NAVCanada site showing a gust to 139km/h (which seems sus)

Some runs are going nuts with this Puget Sound snowstorm. Lowland amounts of 5 to 10cm and 20 to 30cm in the foothills. Column seem to support snow down to SL thanks to adiabatic cooling.

Lower Mainland is out of luck as the best dynamics are too far south.
