I was going to say we could see some nasty showers today due to the unstable airmass. Sun, showers, hail, graupel kinda day imo
It is March after all.

Yesterdays rain wuda been 5-10cms of snow if we had arctic air in place and it was mid Jan or so, but i digress :|
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Radar is getting lit up.
60% of showers EC said for Metro. Looking quite gloomy out there. Im sure around 3-4 pm the skies will clear out again, as usual. Chilly week ahead. We need to see some sunny 20's soon

a huge part of the coldest time of the year, we had snow levels floating around 4-6k ft+, now that its March, we have had numerous days where the snow level has dropped to 500ft-1500ft   and with those of course, numerous Slush festivals
Expected.

Temperature outlook for May, June and July. Above is a probabilistic seasonal forecast for 2-metre temperatures produced by the International Multi-Model Ensemble (IMME) for the 3-month period of May through July. Note that this forecast does not show the actual anomalies (how much warmer/cooler relative to normal), but rather, the respective probabilities of above-normal temperatures, below-normal temperatures or neutral conditions. Based on the above forecast, the dice are loaded for a warmer-than-normal spring and first half of summer in BC, with a stronger signal for the South Coast and US Pacific Northwest (darker orange shading).

April is as much a lost cause as March, just not so annoying on average, because I get to watch others score (while I don’t) less often.

Next chance for significant lowland snow is November.
