Re: April 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
we still may see some isolated showers today. Awesome looking clouds again today. Not sure why forecasts always clear us out so fast. Meantime, troff is still over us, doing troffy things as usual

Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

Re: April 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
If Seattle can get snow yesterday, why can we not get another frosty morning in the coming days? Its been quite chilly this March/April. Im glad we all survived this brutal winter weather!!Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2026 11:32 am Morning frost earlier today. Last one I see until next fall?

Re: April 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
Yep, this is very misguided. The fonts are too big and the information is laid out in an illogical way. More clicking and scrolling just to see the same information. They've also removed the forecast text, so that's a downgrade, not an improvement.
I wanted to take the survey, but they've already stopped accepting feedback.
I hope someone also told them to bring back the previous day summary at the bottom of the page.

Some areas along the Mountains did see some flurries at 4am. Rogue shower dropped a skiff of snow just east of Mission.Hawk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2026 1:45 pm @Rubes..not only did Seattle score snow yesterday(according to some people), but waterspouting too![]()

Re: April 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
That doesn't sting as much. Calgary is a much colder and snowier climate. Only to be expected.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2026 10:38 pm Everyone gets snow but usMy sister in Calgary woke to 6" and was not happy.
What hurts is seeing places like Seattle and Portland, statistically significantly less snowy than us, score and score and score again in March an April while MBY gets skunked.
Heck, even Florence, OR and Redding, CA (mild enough that blue gum eucalyptus and Canary Island date palms grow there) have received more (much more, it is not even close) March/April snow than I have seen in the past 35 years.

You nailed it. I hope others on here filled in the survey.
The fact they closed the survey so quick is BS. What was it opened for 23 days?? Pathetic.
Removing the text forecast is just garbage.

They closed the survey already? I was going to fill it in. So much for that. What a joke.
