Maybe those analogues we had back in November will prove useful.
Looks like early-mid January could be the time to watch for a stretch of wintry weather.

The potential exists, and the weeklies looked decent for this period as well, so it’s not just the GFS off on its own.
Unfortunately, we all know how these things usually play out. Hopefully this one follows a different script.
