Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Some of my fave snow days are daylight hours like this when u can actually witness the black cloud (cold front)
moving in and then reap the rewards soon after. Yesssss

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Damn, already +1C at 8 am.
The one thing working in our favour is that the heaviest precipitation will be in the morning instead of the afternoon.
Global is predicting sunny breaks this afternoon, so that would melt much of what falls this morning. I'm not convinced that will happen, though.

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Seems a mix of rain snow and hail here. Hail is helping but not much.

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Will be rather unstable mr AbbyWx. Altough there is usually a dry slot after the cold front sweeps thru. Or sometimes it just stays showery. Looks to be convective so therefore unpredictable. We will see which occurs this time.Abby_wx wrote: ↑Fri Feb 22, 2019 8:06 am Damn, already +1C at 8 am.![]()

The ULL seems to be producing some good bands of precip. Let's hope they continue.. or better yet intensify as the Low moves south tonight

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I dunno buttees. Radar isn't doing much. Cold front looks to sweep thru rather quickly. Imo the snow amounts are a bust. 15cm? No way. Not anymore. The max is 2 cm so far?
I hope I'm wrong but most moisture went south of us

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
There's a weak accumulation going on right now but technically it's more hail than snow
