Trust me..take a winter vacation in this area. Cheap and so enjoyable.
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

That says it all really. Cold air repelled north by the sheer energy of subtropical moisture.

Well, at least Terrace, Ketchikan, and Prince Rupert will get some decent snowfall. Even Sitka.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

For fun, I decided to do a reanalysis of the 500 mb pattern throughout the December 2008 arctic blast. There are 17 photos. Is there anywhere on this forum that I can post them without annoying the crap out of people? I can only upload 6 per post so that would be 3 posts of photos that people may or may not care to see  Mods, what are your thoughts?

Nice choice Mr. Shar l'll be able to see your readings on my ecowitt graph page under the map tab, my readings are on there too. Are you going to broadcast on wunderground as well? you'll love the internet access. Pm me if you need info. on internet connectivity. You can also see your readings on your cell when your out.
