I wonder if we've ever had a winter where Eugene, Portland, Seattle and Victoria have all had more snowfall than Vancouver. This is probably a first
The pattern was perfect but most of the lows went south. Horrible luck for the mainland. Just when December 2008 came to memory, it was washed away with February 2014.

I’d bet Vancouver is solidly ahead of Portland for this winter. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s happened before. There have been some very cold dry months in our history that likely had a suppressed storm track.

Who cares about it being cold, we want to break snow records!
And what is with all the snow in Arizona? Pffft! what a waste.
And Oregon getting more snow again.. Pfffft!
Can we get a 30cm dump metro wide for once and stop wasting all this cold?
Interestingly I drove from White Rock late this afternoon, temp was +4, got to Langley and it was +1, then I got home it's 0.7 all in one big loop.
Wind never got that strong today but was above normal for sure.

I love snow but I really enjoy the dry, sunny, windy, and cold weather.
