l wonder how much we'll pick up before we transition, l think EC's 2cm to 4cm is out to lunch. May as well have that TWN group forecasting from TO the way EC has botched it out here weren't we suppose to have risen to 0c like Thursday morning.Misterfraservalley wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 11:18 am Drove from 220st (north of highway) to abbotsford, temperatures ranged from -2 to -5. What's your current snow depth Shar? I hope you get your station on line soon. Did you sign in to Ecowitt so you can access your readings from anywhere if you do that theres a map with all the stations. You go to Ecowitt.net to sign up, l"m the only Ecowitt station in Chilliwack.

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
It is my dream home, semi-retirement. Its not really secluded there are a number of First Nations villages in the area and a whole lot of tourists that visit the two hotsprings along the valley. My nearest neighbour is about 3 km away and there are about 300 people living in the area. I'm originally from Poco.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 11:50 am Seems to be a very secluded area. There can't be a whole lot of people living there. Is that like your dream retirement home/area?

There is just enough snow out here that it covers the obstacles. Hubby got some airtime yesterday going over a log he didn't see, no damage to him or the machine.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 11:53 am Ice ball, garbage can lid, face plant in the snow= hospital.![]()

Re: January 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Lots of trees down I guess, they kept saying they were on site and power would be back on in 2 hours but there was a tree down on my road, 3 houses affected and took them a while to work their way here. Woke up at midnight to men yelling, flashing lights and chainsaws.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 11:29 am Yah, kinda wondered what happened thought you might have lost power, welcome back. Yale man can pick up afew tips on living barberically.1" inch is all wow! If you didn't have social media you would think there's not much snow elsewhere as well.
Haven't checked through the posts or social media yet, take it that most people have more snow left... but maybe less than East Chilliwack.
