I feel the same way. If any more snow, hope it happens no later than mid Feb. Psychologically late Feb belongs to spring or at least getting ready for spring. Just don't have the mood for any slush fest or even short lived snow after then.
We did get some nice late Feb snowfalls in 2014 and 2018 which both stuck around for a bit.
Of course, last year takes the cake in terms of long lasting Feb snowpacks...we didn't completely melt out till mid March.
Random but Boston pizza is complete trash for the ridiculous prices they sell there pizza at.. like 30 dollars a large? Just to find hair on your pizza

The persistent chill from early Feb thru early March last year is not something we see very often. Cold locking in for more than a month is a once in 10 year type of thing. These events used to occur more frequently, but have been lacking in recent times.
Wouldn't get my hopes up for a repeat. And anyways...wouldn't you prefer a shorter, more dynamic event this time around? Last February looked good from a stats perspective, but there was no single event really noteworthy throughout the month.

I agree. Lets do a February 2017 repeat instead.
But that is probably a once in 10 year type of thing too. A strong low stalling out off the Washington coast for several days meeting up with arctic air? Not something you can bet on every year. But would be cool to see it repeat.
Regionally February 2017 and 2019 were probably pretty comparable events. Obviously the persistent chill was noteworthy last February but after mid month it was a pretty lacklustre pattern. Some places saw more snow in 2017 and some places more in 2019. Probably a little better arctic tap in early 2019 than at any point in 2017.

February 2019 was colder for me than 2017 but less snowy. I'd prefer snowy over colder.

That's actually close to normal and a lower swing than last week when it was -49C at night. Puntzi Mountain is the only place in Canada with a diurnal temperature variation of 16C. When it's raining and snowing it's far less, but more when the sun shines it's more (such as today). Last week it was over 20 degrees.
