If recent model runs are to be believed, the cold should be showing up just about when it’s time for me to ride the shuttle to the Seattle airport. So I’m going to root for a Whatcom County/BC Lower Mainland special. Just a little bit of travel on snowy roads, then clear sailing from Burlington on south.

Sorry, Seattle and Portland. Gotta look out for #1.

Wouldn’t it basically look like that every winter? I mean, does 1 m of snow cover really look any different from 30 cm of snow cover from outer space? White is white.
