The second map has a distinct outline of a hominids skull, complete with the brow ridge, nasal protrusion and cranium. Note that this also could show the higher % Neanderthal genetics   due to the prominent brow ridge. Possibly this will scare the blob away for next winter
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

To be honest I'd love a repeat of last February (although a bit snowier).

Loved that the cold air was solidly in place already before the snow came. That let me walk around on hard frozen grass.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Its difficult enough to thread the needle around here Dec 15-Jan 31. Once mid Feb hits, its more like needle in a haystack type thang. Yes it can snow, but its the here today, gone tomorrow types for the most part. Or here today, slush tomorrow. Meh...i never did like slush festivals..but it may look nice to watch it fall from the sky. Especially with 0c snow, there is a much larger chance of those massive flakes we just had so there is some eye candy aspects to it. 8-)
