Snow intensity picking up here but not sticking to surfaces.
Models may be overdoing low level accumulations.

Been snowing at a good clip for a while, but the flakes are pretty small. Seeing some patches finally starting to stick to the pavement but it's still mostly wet.

Currently 0.5C, dp -0.1c.

Nothing sticking at all here either... the only snow on the ground is that which was left over from Sunday night.

You guys on the sunshine coast will likely do pretty well with this event. Better than most in Metro Vancouver.

Snowing hard here. Everything turning white. I wish the temperature could come down below 0 and it would be much more enjoyable.

Same intensity as before, but seeing bigger flakes now. Finally seeing a thin layer of snow accumulating on the pavement.

No arctic air in place = a flakey falling day buds

Imagine if we started with even some arctic air here? Like a paltry -6c at 7am...like we had in Jan and all this would be at 5cm already everywhere. But wait..with the outflow, it would decimate the moisture, so we'd have about .5cm instead

Just drove from Burnaby to Surrey (176 St & 68 A Ave.) snow has picked up significantly all roads are white. Afternoon commute will be interesting.
