Burnaby Mountain looks to get some slushy snow this week. Fri-Sat could bring mixed precip down to 200.

Next week looks interesting Sun-Tues. Upper level temps and thickness values support accumulating slushy snow down to 200m. Not looking like an issue on the roads. Snow maps not reflecting this.

Driving up to whistler around 2pm/...
Enjoy your trip how long are you staying in Whistler? for the family day weekend? If so it'll be absolutely nuts but fun especially if it's snowing.

Never seen it like this midwinter. Honestly, this is not even close to the worst winter we've seen. I still think there's potential for more fun. Nobody seems in the mood after that rug pull, understandably.

Well Mr. Kells it actually didn't bother me this time kinda like a shoulder shrug. Unlike the mid January event that almost went sideways it turned out good but short it had the best potential. Even last Tuesdays event was like oh well it figures. It's been that type of winter. This weekend and next week will be fun to track the mountains snow.

It would be nice to score a couple more snowfalls to bring us up to our average snowfall for the winter, but overall it seems like people are ready to put this one behind us. It just gets harder to care as February marches on with nothing interesting showing up in the models.
People will still post when there's interesting weather, but not for the sake of model-riding.

Interesting track, El Nito mentioned maybe slush down to 200m next week so Catman may see some wet snow.

A little bit deeper low a little bit further south and who knows? I'm telling you folks, get up in those mountains and have some fun.
