Where did you get the gauge Abby Sr. I want one, there the best manual gauges around.

Can you post a picture Jr. of your rain gauge location. If it is close to a bldg. then yes in can skew the readings. Also you can calibrate the gauge it should be in the instructions. Or the best way is to get the Stratus gauge like Abby Sr. to use for calibration and a back up but they are pricey l believe. Quinn Hughes does it again!

Ah yes most likely some rain shadowing based on your decks railing and location of your gauge, can you put it out further from the bldg. or higher up on the railing away from your house entrance as well.

Environment Canada shows 119 mm storm total for the Abbotsford area.

Environment Canada: "Cloudy with a chance of making stuff up."

The actual total is around 105 mm, but we'll see later this evening when they post today's total.
