With this kind of airmass, if the winds are calm this night temperatures could be very cold (around -5C) tomorrow morning.

Seems like those outflow gusts are making it out to the coast too, it sounds like it's ripping through the gap between my and my neighbour's houses.

Given the mid March sunshine, today is remarkably cold.

I’m off to buy a years supply of food and a 25 year supply of toilet paper. Cause you know, when you are out of food you still need to poop. 💩

According to Environment Canada's 4 PM update, the strong outflow winds are expected to continue and even intensify again this evening.
 :o  This is insane for March. My high so far has only reached 1C, which is remarkable given the March sun.

Warm weather viruses do not thrive well just look at the lack of outbreaks in warm countries. :D cheers and stay safe everyone. We will get through this together. I do like our provinces response so far.

My wind gauge is broken - it won't read above 45 km/h. I'd estimate gusts of at least 70-80 km/h here.
Oh dear Abby sr. you seem to be having lot's of issues with your Davis station time for a change to Ecowitt. :D

According to your website, http://abbotsfordwx.com/, your max gust recorded was 83.7 km/h at 2:07 AM.

So it appears your station is at least recording your wind history correctly.
