EPS and CFS were all showing some major pattern change with rising heights over the GOA by mid-late Dec back in Nov.

To be fair, January 2020 wasn’t half bad.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Much like Covid fatigue, seems a lot of members have winter fatigue or lack there of. Relax enjoy the holiday's this year. The vaccine rollout will be more interesting than weather. Don't forget to apply for the $1000.00 starting Dec. 18th from the NDP.

It's easy to predict the start of winter. December 21st, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Winter begins on December 22nd in 2023.

Typical in our climate. Clown range promises the goods and then it gets pushed back or disappears all together. Hopefully the SSW event predicted by the GFS and GEFS verifies. It may be our only hope in dislodging that stubborn Polar Vortex.

Even at that, a SSW event is by no means any guarantees. All we can do is expect the worse but hope for the best.
