I know it's Dec. 10th but just the way this whole year has faired l'm not putting stock in anything amazing. if it happens great but my excitement level has declined for this winter.

Why has the PV been so strong the past couple of years? -ENSO/+QBO/Low solar and yet the cold won't dive down south at all.

We shouldn't need a SSW event in these conditions to see even a modified arctic front but apparently we do in our current climate.

High res 00z NAM shows a chance of wet snow early Sunday too. Maybe some light accumulations on westwood plateau and burnaby mountain.

Seems to me the way these things work is it'll either fizzle and no snow for anyone or surprise us with 3' because there's no snowfall warning. I know what I'm hoping for.
