imo i believe that some local areas(higher hills) will score well with this. Rain to snow events are one of my faves, with a cold troff kicking in Monday afternoon
A rain to snow transition makes me think of a brutally cold arctic front coming in from the NE, chasing a screaming Nito    west

Alright everyone. NAM and HRRR have shifted south overnight leaving vancouver island snowless. GFS and EURO and possibly HRDPS still look good. In this situation which solution would you believe?

Lol. 5 to 6 feet in Manning park? Snow ratio is a little off.
That would be an all time record.

Edit. But I would happily take the 30" the Simikameen.

Really a coin flip. If the GFS, Gem and Euro are in agreement then I’d lean with those models over the mesoscale models. I’ve seen them be really good before but they can be pretty awful with low placement and strength.

It's been more write than wrong. This close bet on the Euro. Also the snow totals are well overdone on all models.
