Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Hey question for someone who is knowledgable in this area.
Does having a -PNA/-NAO combo help get us colder or rather lock in the cold for a prolonged period?
Just curious if there is any benefit to having to having a ridge bridge arctic blast and what the benefit would be?
In other words, would a -PNA/-NAO be colder than just a -PNA/-EPO? Or would it just lock the cold in longer?
January 1969 is an example of a -PNA/-NAO forming a ridge bridge. The cold locked in for most of the month.

Too bad, Nito, that’s definitely in a secure, restricted area.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
15 a day average I guess yes very sad. Some one told me the average age of covid19 death is higher than the average death rate in Canada would be interesting to see if that’s true. Maybe just another conspiracy though a lot of those out there latelystuffradio wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 3:19 pm No, +15C and cold rain.
Only 382 COVID cases in the last 24 hours! Tragic number of deaths over the last 5 days though.
