Front looks ok..but most of the precip has dried up or is heading south.
All these pages of anticipation lol.
We still have today and tomorrow. Hopefully its snow up on the hills
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++
Willoughby Langley at ~320ft / Similkameeeens ~3400ft
No snow here either. 1.1C with some splats. Looks like it’s mostly rain on the malahat this morning too, even at 1200 feet. Will see what the low pressure system does today but it’s obviously a little warmer than I was expecting which means precip rates have become a bigger issue. Looks like there has been a few cms further north on the island but also a lot of SE wind warming right along the coast.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft
Seems the snow has picked up here finally. It’s very dark out my window with very little lights to look at but I can now see the flakes and visibility has dropped so who knows. Maybe we will have a few solid hours out of this.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..
Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.
Marginal temps..we will see. If precip rates are high enough it should be snow in the Eastern Valley and the higher Hills but other areas look like mostly rain or a mix.
