Looks like the GFS did the best in the long term and the NAM did the best short term precip forecast. Same as last year with the GEM being the worst, the HRRR being the worst for short term and ECM falling in between all.

At the airport? It’s pretty far out of town. I bet there is less than that in town.

I think CR is pretty nice. And it’s not that far from the comox valley which has pretty much everything. But if you’re a city person than yea it’s pretty remote.
