0.3c in south Sardis ground all white now, wrap around moisture flung our way finally. 06Z Goofy not bad nice cold troughs continue.

This was one of the more epic snowfail warnings I can remember. Aside from CR and SFU I don’t think anyone reached warning criteria. Which IIRC is 5cm in 6hrs or 10cm in 24hrs.

We ended up with around 5cm at 270m
Eastern hillsides chilliwack.

I actually don’t even know what zone I’m in. I’m not really in Greater Victoria. But I’m not east Vancouver island Duncan to Nanaimo. Shawnigan lakes weather is pretty close to the Malahat for snowfall warnings generally. They were forecast for 10-15cm.

Our climate is much different than Victoria.

Snowing at a decent clip in Nanaimo again. We've been plenty cold enough here but the precipitation just hasn't been there consistently. Couple of slushy cms down.

It’s suddenly dumping down snow with large flakes up here. Heaviest snow of the entire “event”. I’m sure it’ll be over the moment I hit submit.
