I'm considering getting a new hobby if this winter fails again. We live in the worst part of the world for boring and depressing weather.

I hate hot and humid. That weather is crap. If I could move anywhere I would research a place with actual winters and snow and move there.

Started up again and looking almost snow-like  Accumulating on the roofs across the street. And now on the lawn as well. Hail? Graupel?

For a tropical city at sea level, the climate of Lima is surprisingly cool.

Quito, Ecuador is pretty nice as well. It's right on the equator.

At an elevation of 2,800 m, that’s no surprise.

Speaking of mocking and EC , there was some brief weather talk on TSN 1040 , apparently there were a lot of unhappy parents who had to try to explain the snow forecast bust to their disappointed children, I think the gist was that weather forecasters get off the hook too easily when they're wrong. I guess the general public doesn't know about EC's kiss of death.

Looks like some showers are starting to move in from the West.

Sounds like it is hitting Lisa now.

Think slight accumulations in shadowed areas, partially coated grass and unnecessary shoveling and salting of the driveway since daytime heating would melt it off anyways! CMON!!!!

This is a scenario that could overperform for you.

I’m pre treating the driveway as I type.

Let's just hope no Snowfall Warning gets issued over there.
