Wow , what a monster year 1971 was. Dec-Feb had almost 235 cm. It's no wonder I spent a lot of time at Q.E. Park tobogganing and playing shinny on those small ponds. Now that was the time to be alive.

Huge props to you for posting those snowfall graphs for every single winter month. :thumbup:

Not sure if you saw above but I also posted a graph showing annual snowfall in Vancouver back to 1898.

100cm fell in just five days in January 1971. One of the greatest snowstorms in Vancouver history.

I think Sardis and Gump have posted their memories from that event before.

December 1971 was a pretty huge month for snowfall as well.

~70-120cm fell across Metro Vancouver, depending on location.
