Roughly the same timeframe as what the 12z/18z are showing now.

That said, I am one of the biggest skeptics here. Just saying, don't discount the GFS so easily.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays :clap:

Just had a look and you and Sardis are right! Monty posted a map on December 31st 2019 showing a pretty decent Arctic outbreak beginning on January 14th 2020. The cold air reached Abbotsford on the 13th. Score one for the GFS! Wish long range models were always that accurate. The recent prediction by all the models in the first week of January didn't work out too well for the past week! Some snow but temps only a few degrees below normal if that.

I remember it well. It was zoned in at 15 days out or so..like a laser pegged it. Right Nito? Tell em Nito!!
