Most times i see the Big H in Alberta or east, the cold heads East. Sorry buttees..is it over again? Or pushed back to 19+ days away.

The GFS is clueless right now. Every run is significantly different.

I'd ignore it for now.

Yes and it runs a lot per day, so we get to analyze it the most. :thumbup:

It usually comes across that you are torturing yourself by following the models.

That’s actually a big part of it. It would probably seem a little less chaotic if we only analyzed the 0z and 12z runs.

I wouldn't count on any big cold snaps. This is a La Nina year and it hasn't produced as the temps are 1 degree too high. Otherwise there would be much more snow this year. I don't see why this would change, there hasn't been enough dynamics in the weather changes. A stay at home Covid winter type pattern following the norm of nothing exciting happening. Besides, I told you I fixed my plow, that means it won't happen. At least I didn't go buy a pallet of salt.
