Yeah, wow, quite the improvement in the short term.

I would think it is too early to put much stock in the longer range solutions, both cold and wet.

Nito thinks so..I wouldn't say San Diego..but maybe more like Portland winters will be the norm?
:damn: :damn:
Even arctic arctic air isn't all that arctic anymore.

Wow. Has the word arctic lost all meaning yet? If not from repetition, then from the lack of cold.

Given how unreliable the long range modelling has been this winter, I would think it best to look for short term improvements and not worry about the long range at this point.

It has been replaced by the word "farctic"

Yep. I’m not worried about it. Just reporting.

It’s gonna get cold early next week. Probably some snow.

Its probably a good bet.

I've never seen flip flopping like this. Its just nuts. Totally numb to any change in the models as it can all just evaporate in a run.

Still time left to redeem this winter. The February 2018 arctic blast began on the 18th. It's on the 3rd right now and long range predictability has been awful as of recent. My guess is we see some cold and white surprises this month that pop up in the short term models at the last minute.
