Wow. Long duration cold spell on the 12z. Lots of +3/-5 type days likely. Western Oregon will have their snow shovels at the ready.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Still cold thru next weekend with perhaps a flurry or 2 by Sunday. Major snow and ice storm impacting Portland.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Pretty significant changes from run to run after day 3/4. I’d be happy with a week or so of dry cool/cold days but obviously it would be nice to score some snow at some point too. It’ll be interesting to see how the Euro handles that vortex up in Alaska early next week..

Lol yikes that’s not even really close. Hopefully it’s an outlier like last nights run was. Crazy how significant the differences are between models for just 3/4 days out

GFS is all over the place. Should not be taking serious right now.

Hmmm. Yea the gem was an outlier last night too. Dunno. On to the next one I guess. Or not. I’ll just hang my head outside next week and see what’s happening

This could be a huge snowstorm setup on the gfs run. Really sets up some great cold air warm air battles
