It looks light but it certainly wouldn’t go anywhere quickly.

Typer man will know.

Edit: 16-17 had the snow, but I don't think it was that cold.
16-17 was definitely not that cold

I’d be happy with the lighter snow amounts while being able to maintain the cold.

It's amazing where the models are trending. Even I didn't expect them to look this good. Let's just see if this actually happens. With some temps in central and northern BC between -30 to -50 at night, this cold air slowly dropping south and seeping into everything is exciting!

A few snow chances this week coming up and I see you guys spotted the bigger snow chance next weekend. Yes, if things go right, this will be a full on blizzard! A widespread significant snowfall. :o

This is VERY interesting!

Many surprises to come. I think the forecasts will change from day to day. Outflow winds should ramp up on Wed into Thurs. 70 - 80k

Nice thing this time is the ground will be frozen solid so any snow that falls will stick, even at sea level. Even at the beach at this point.

Yeah. '16-17 had impressive temp means over a 30-40 day period but there was really no notable cold, and all snowfalls were fairly marginal. Hence why Richmond and south delta didn't really have snow cover.
