Go....ICON? I guess.

Could end up similar to the event in early Feb 2014. Prolonged dry backdoor blast with lots of E/NE wind.

Why Mr. Bones, we got the Arctic fart, Mr. Kells gets his frozen mud pit, Gumps gets to lace up his 1950's Johhny Bauers.

Well at least when the extreme solutions moderated they left us still in a very good position. Snow might come later on or never really get here. But there is still time for things to trend better. the 00z runs are soon...

I haven’t really looked at any models today outside of the ICON and what has been posted here.

May skip the 00z runs too and hope for some #surprises.

After upgrading their lowest low to -10 yesterday, global has now reduced it to -7 , with hardly any mention of snow. :(

All righty now, everyone just needs to CALM DOWN a bit about this thing being nothing but a big bust-a-roni. Based on the most recent ECMWF ensembles for KBLI:

• 45 out of 50 members (90%) had an inch (2.5 cm) or more of snow in the coming week.
• 80% had 2" (5 cm) or more.
• 60% had 4" (10 cm) or more.
• 34% had 8" (20 cm) or more.

The mean snowfall was 6.3" and the median was 5.1". And I bet those figures are comparable across most of the Lower Mainland.

Bottom like is that odds strongly disfavor this being a complete zero.

I'd like to see John's 1915 Bauers when he played for the Vancouver Bitcoins , I mean millionaires.
