Haha if we had pigs
But yeah I've got my skates ready, definitely need a sharpening as I haven't even used them in covid times. Picked up a set of goalie pads off the side of the road too. #shinny

You can only contain pigs in your belly after you eat them!

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Yes, Bell, the bottom feeders from the east just ruined a bunch of people lives. Killed a station they had no idea how to run and they also made HUGE profits this year AND got some kind of bailout from the government regarding covid. Absolutely disgusting. As someone who worked in broadcasting I have to say that radio is the WORST most toxic environment to work in because you have zero job security and all these corps that own and run these stations from back east have no idea what the west wants or who is important to who. They care about nobody and will fire an entire staff at the drop of a dime. Word is it will become a comedy station like the one in Calgary, so in other words complete crap. Radio stations were better off when they were locally and privately owned. 1040 is still streaming a pretty interesting playlist of music:

You can copy that into your media player or it should open in firefox.
End Rant. (I'm still pissed they did this to Russ Lacate) That was Rogers.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I am sad for all of these people. I love Jpat, Drance and Don. I hate Bell and I F****ng hate Bell "Let's Talk" day. How dare they corporatize the issue of mental health as they simultaneously destroy people's mental health in a variety of ways. Hypocrites. I hope that day dies so we can talk about it every day and not attach the name of some filthy rich corporation.Hound wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 5:48 pm Yes, Bell, the bottom feeders from the east just ruined a bunch of people lives.
