I was so much better in Belleville. Sidewalks were shoveled. People either stayed home or maintained better gap control when driving. You would get a few large snowfalls then be able to walk around and enjoy the scenic landscape. Here...you walk out into a puddle of slush and have either cold rain or drip slush from the trees fall on your moldy smelling umbrella.
The hills are another huge factor. Even experienced winter drivers from the prairies or ontario have problems driving in the snow here.

Running about two degrees cooler than last night at this time.

Currently -2.3c, dp -17.9. Winds have lessened but still seeing a steady light ENE breeze.

Still clear to the north, but cloudy overhead.

A lot of the mesoscale models are showing it will be a lot drier here. I guess that’s it. Screw the outflow

Dewpoints are still dropping across the region... now below -15c at YVR and close to -20c in Pitt Meadows. Too bad we won't have a clear and calmish night otherwise mins would have been a lot more impressive.

Temp -6ËšC, DP -17ËšC.

NWS forecast low tonight: -7˚C. They have had a warm bias during this whole event. If we get the same temperature curve tonight as last night, somewhere around -9˚C seems a good bet. Maybe I’ll hit the -10 mark this winter after all?
It's called clown range for a reason.
