Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I actually believe that when the snow occurs, he is outside playing in it most of the time..then checks back in here when tired. As a psychologist may assume, i believe that Nito was deprived of enjoying snow as a child, or else lost most of the snowball fights he was in

Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
With even the Euro showing a series of Lows passing to the south of us through WA state, why do the maps also show us moderating so quickly to rain given the cold pool that has formed in the interior?
Theoretically, wouldn’t the lows pull the cold towards us and keep us in the snow zone for the foreseeable future?

Plow just came down my street for the first time today. Cars were starting to scrape bottom in the deeper spots.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Flakes seem to be getting bigger. Roads are Sh*t out here, car pile up in sooke. Surprisingly I'm seeing alot of traffic on the rds. Normally it's pretty quiet when it snows here.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Why such a difference? Wouldn’t think elevation would be a big factor today?

It looks like places that didn't so so well in the snow department today will do better tomorrow into Monday. That one looks to delivery 10-15cm of pasty snow above 100m.

Models often warm us too soon in situations like this. They seem to have a warm bias during overrunning events.Willoughby wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 10:42 am With even the Euro showing a series of Lows passing to the south of us through WA state, why do the maps also show us moderating so quickly to rain given the cold pool that has formed in the interior?

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Really random accumulations. It's varying from block to block. Heard South Delta has 12cm. Downtown New West has close to 5cm. Less than 2cm up the hill near Tenth and Cumberland. Sounds like a trace to 2cm in North Surrey and a dusting in POCO.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Should be good for 5-10cm. Outflow might crank up but heavier precip will overcome it.
