I think the winter storm watch may be overdoing it but then again this is EC who issued "arctic" outflow warnings for -10c windchills.

South Sardis only a trace, yup winter storm watch is up for the Fraser valley.   this last system really scoured out the Arctic air though.

Just measured 3 cm. About what I was expecting for here.
Hound..you always seem to be about 1c colder than it should be at your spot.
Better check some other temp sources in your area. Or get Catnip temp at same time. I know he is 1c colder than areas at bottom of the hill
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Currently 0.4c dewpoint -7.6c peak wind gust 53kmh at 3:30a.m. and yet they cancelled the Arctic outflow warning late last night. EC doesn't have a clue what's going on it appears. WP needs to transfer back here.

It's legit. I have 2 separate stations and they are pretty much the same, maybe 0.2 off from each other. It's not hard to believe, this area usually is the snow belt. Holds on longest for snow on this side of the highway usually. Not this year or last though. :eh:

Still snowing here 6pm marks 24hrs of snow. Made a snowman with my son. This kind of snow is actually fun to play in. You don't end up soaking wet and freezing. Could easily spend hours in it. We are working on an igloo next.

Someone on the FB 'Vancouver Island Weather Enthusiasts' reported 11 inches at Shawnigan Lake.
