Snow density has increased but I suspect so has my temperature. There's dripping from branches which wasn't as prominent earlier. I really ought to get an outdoor thermometer. The sun could not set fast enough, echoing some other members here.

Precip is going to shut off over western sections just before sundown on radar LOL. Welp, I'm gonna expect cold rain overnight here too. Good luck, all you eastern suburbanites, I think my winter is effectively over.

Ok, NOW it's snowing hard enough and the big flakes needed to start sticking to things. Finally!

Either one works for me. I figure it’s better to use ˚C on a Canadian forum. As to why the USA has never gone metric? Reactionary pigheadedness. I would not mind switching systems one little bit. As a child, I resented having to memorize all those 3’s, 12’s, 8’s, and 16’s when the rest of the world was just adding and dropping zeroes at the end of numbers. And all just because some old farts felt threatened by change.

Length is the one where I really prefer metric. It’s just soooo much easier to design a project when you work in mm and cm and do away with all those stupid fractions and mixed numbers. I went through the effort of sourcing and purchasing a metric tape measure just so I can design and build miscellaneous projects in mm and cm.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Looks like I have a near-stationary snow shower parked over me and intensifying. I love it when that happens :D

Snowing hard with big fat flakes. Up to 4 cm accumulation for the day.

Well, after 5 cm Saturday morning, it’s been dry and evaporating ever since. Cant believe how long the moisture has been over western sections and nothing has made it here.
