So the precip get's in here overnight when it's dark at least. El Nito is right no more cold air in the canyon to work with in the valley.

I'm somewhat surprised to still have 5.5 cm on the ground. I thought it would be less.

Between -7 to -10C just east of Hood River. That is going to be a long ice storm...

Cold air tends to lock into E Oregon and it takes a stiff southerly wind to boot it out.

Can't see anything more than 5cm falling tonight. Burnaby Mountain is at +2C and Cypress only -1C.

Normally look at this sensor to gauge cold air aloft (500m) in the Valley and it's only reading -1.3C.

I don't see it happening but I'm not a met. Maybe Tyler sees something I don't.

11cm here today. Snow depth topped out around 37-39cm depending on where we measured in the yard. (My 3 year old “helped” she was pretty excited about it).

Temp is 0.1C. I’m not sure if the precip coming tonight will be white or wet here. We had lots of drizzle mixed with snizzle earlier this evening
