Yeah. Just really wet.
Weak signal on this run for anything cold. Looked like it was going to be a solidly cold period the next 10 days but the GFS and ECMWF op runs have considerably warmed the next 7 days up.
Edit: Higher elevation snows maybe Wed into Thurs this week.
And we’re back here again. Pretending that OP runs are nearly as important as trends and ensembles.
We narrowly missed on a big time event here but you claimed it wasn’t happening at all. Why not wait and see.

Yup. It was actually really close to something memorable and possibly historic. So close but another fail.
January 2020 was also close to being something way better than what actually verified. Its tough when we are so close to something memorable and it falls apart on us.

This has be one the more memorable Portland to Vancouver snow. Even if it wasn't that uniform, everybody still got something.

This event was not "memorable" by any means for the lower mainland. We ended up with either nothing or just a run-of-the-mill snowfall.

I mean how widespread the snow was. Not often is there a system that hits Portland, Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver.

Seems like someone always has to lose in a PNW event and this time it was us.
