If only the storm had tracked about 160 km further south…
It's called clown range for a reason.

Annoyingly it seems like the storm track is always either Haida Gwaii or Oregon, and never quite Olympic Peninsula

Ya I've noticed that too. Unfavorable storm tracks and unfavorable orographics lately. Storms are late to arrive and quick to exit.

Sounds like a real slush-fest. I can't say I'm jealous. It sounds more annoying than enjoyable.

Talk about annoying, yesterday went to crescent beach and had a fairly bad allergy attack with sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, ears, and eyes. Then went to playground with grandkids at crescent park and got swarmed by mosquitoes , which I was really surprised to see this early in the year and that many. Kind of a rarity in these parts, thankfully don't see too many during spring and summer.
