It looked like a bit of wet flakage but then I realised it was just bigger drops of water from tree branches

Probably some semi formed Hail precip. Let's call it Shail?
MAYDAY MAYDAY! We need some warm sunny weather this month. Some showers mixed in would be good too

Crazy weather change in Nanaimo the last 30 mins. Hail started, couple of flashes of lightning and the wind shifted the other direction. Some strong gusts and now it's sleeting.

It’s actually clearing off here. More action later?
It's called clown range for a reason.

We just had a brief flicker, and the sky darkened very quickly, and now it's hailing and very windy.

It's starting to get real stormy. Wind finally changed direction and big dark clouds coming from the NW and it's rain mixed with hail right now with strong gusts. Had a power flicker as well.
