Well that was fun, now it's calming down. Temp sitting at 3.3

Was hoping to get more thunder and lightning but it looks like that all hit the Pitt Lake area.

I took my kids to the little bike park at Cloverdale Athletic Park right before the hail started. I saw the cloud to the north as we are driving and thought glad we missed that. However less than 5 minutes after getting on our bikes a big dark cloud rolled over, hail started. We made a break for the car to ride out the storm but we had to go against the wind into the hail. The kids were crying by the time we got back. It cleared up and we got out again but soon we were too cold. Got back home and discovered my garage door opener has a battery backup as the power is out.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

The weather entertainment today was cool. The power outage for the last 2 hours- not so cool. :P

ooh those are not fun. dunno about you but I don't have data so when the power's out I actually lose almost all communication

Had some graupel showers come through about 40 minutes ago. All graupel, no rain.

It felt fairly concerning at around 7 here. slowed a bit since.
